Michele Knotz is an American voice actress who works for New York City-based studios, including TAJ Productions, Headline Sound, and Central Park Media.
Born in New Jersey, Knotz attended Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In 2003, she won the Anime Idol voice acting contest held at the now-defunct Big Apple Anime Fest convention in New York City. She debuted in the role of Hajime Yagi in The World of Narue. Since 2006, she has been the voices of Misty, May, Nurse Joy and Team Rocket’s Jessie in the Pokémon franchise in addition to numerous Pokémon creatures including Manaphy, Piplup, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Psyduck, Wigglytuff, Gardevoir, Snivy, Bewear, Woobat, Latias, Latios, Mr. Mime, Jirachi, Chikorita, Skarmory, Beautifly, Mudkip, Cacnea, and more!
Additional anime roles include Shiryū Chō’un in Ikki Tousen, Chika Ogiue in Genshikin, Tomoe and Airi in Queen’s Blade, Akira Sakamoto in Holy Knight, Sanae Shikikagami in Ladies vs Butlers!, Athena Glory in the Aria series, Young Byojack in One Piece, Carina in One Piece: Gold, Neo Alraune in Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, Rol Calcife in Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town, and young Hiro in Full Dive.
Michele has also voiced characters for numerous video games including Pokémon Trainer and Squirtle in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008), Alisa Bosconovitch and Roll in Street Fighter X Tekken (2012), The Sparrow Nike in Smite (2014), Bazzi in KartRider Rush+, and Jessie in Pokémon Masters (2020).
