Kyle McCarley is a voice over actor living in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Theatre, and has been behind the microphone for anime, cartoons, video games, audiobooks, commercials, podcasts, radio plays, eLearning software, phone prompts, and even a talking plush monkey.
Kyle’s most notable work includes the lead roles of 9S in Nier:Automata, the hit PS4 action game, Mikazuki Augus in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Mob in Mob Psycho 100, both of which aired on Adult Swim. Additional roles include Shinji Mato from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel, Koku from B: The Beginning, Red Son from Lego Monkie Kid, Ryota Watari from Your Lie in April, Killy from Blame, Narancia Ghirga from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo, Joe Shimamura from Cyborg 009: Call of Justice and Helbram from The Seven Deadly Sins. Kyle also voiced the series regular Simon on Cartoon Network & HBO Max’s Infinity Train.
In video games, Kyle is known for his performances as lead characters 9S from Nier: Automata, Zeroken from Disgaea 5, Alm in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Gatekeeper in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Harry Potter in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, Harold ‘Hal’ Clark in Astral Chain, and the comedic role of Doi in Hi Score Girl and as his role as Wizard Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom.
In addition to animation and games, Kyle has recorded several award winning audiobooks, numerous commercials on the web, radio, and television across the country, including a “Big Game” commercial for Taco Bell, as well as a lot of other exciting stuff he is not allowed to talk about yet.
