Jason Ybarra started his Acting/Stunt career back in 1994 right out of high school on the popular childrens tv show “The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”.

Starting out as an extra, Jason quickly landed the role of “Baboo” one of the villans on the show. From there he slowly played other monsters and various rangers, a good fit for the martial artist turned actor. During his tenure, he wore various hats both in front of and behind the camera.  After the show left to film in New Zealand back in 2004, Jason decided to continue in the industry having worked on countless tv shows (including Alias, Driver, and Knight Rider 2008), movies, commercials and music videos.  As a stunt person, Jason has worked on such memorable films as Mighty Morpin Power Rangers: The Movie, Starship Troopers, The Fast and the Furious, Spider-Man 1 & 2, Men in Black II, Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers, Fast and Furious, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

In 2009 Jason built the Transformer “Ratchet” out of a 1987 Toyota van which was the van they used to portray the robot in the G1 cartoon, complete with various sound effects and lights to bring it to life.

In 2011 Jason realized he had a conundrum, he wanted a new car.  Jason shopped various cars including BMW’s and Mercedes’ but felt that those cars everyone had or could buy.  That’s when he designed and poured his money into having the full size “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Van” built, based on the Party Wagon from the original TMNT animated series. His primary goal was to make it look and function just like the toy that was produced in the 1980s. After assembling  a team of the best builders and designers in Hollywood, his dream soon became a reality.

Sometimes Jason receives funny looks when driving his van around.  Why this vehicle? He drives his TMNT van around to bring 1000’s of smiles to fans young and old who had that same dream he had.  Now those very fans can see it cruising the streets of Los Angeles when Jason is not on the road.

In addition to showcasing the Turtle Van and Ratchet at comic cons and pop culture shows across the country, Jason also offers a live action, 4-person show featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Jason enjoys traveling and meeting his fans at comic cons across the country.
